Walnut Sables

  • 3oz Plain Flour
  • 3oz Butter or Marg
  • 3oz Strong Cheese (grated)
  • 1oz Walnuts
  • Salt, Pepper, Mustard
  • 1 Small Egg

Sift flour, salt, pepper, mustard, rub in butter lightly add cheese, mix until it leaves bowl. Roll out ¼ inch thick cut into triangles. Put on non-greased baking sheet and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Cook for 15mins at Gas mark6, 204° C Fairly hot
