Chocolate Brandy Cake

- 8oz Crushed Digestive Biscuits
- 8oz Chocolate
- 8oz Unsalted Butter
- 3oz Caster Sugar
- 2oz Cherries chopped
- 2oz Walnuts chopped
- 2 Eggs
- Brandy to taste
Melt butter and chocolate Beat eggs and sugar, and then beat the two lots together. Fold in the cherries and the walnuts, brandy and biscuits. Put in a greased loaf tin or container, refrigerate. Turn out and serve with cream or fromage frais.
This is a rich dish and a little goes a long way. Not sure of the quantity of Brandy Recipe says half a glass, but what size glass?!
